Meet the Gorgichuk Family D.A.M. ( Drew and Mason) Good Drywall with the loving leading force Shannon helping hold it all together !

Drew Gorgichuk started in the drywall trade over 20 years ago, up at Malaspina College working in the union for Dryco. After gaining experience, he took a leap and built his own crew—starting with 15 to 20 boarders working across Vancouver Island from Sidney to Tofino.

What began as a boarding team quickly grew into a full-scale operation of 35 to 50 tradesmen, depending the project’s at hand and job’s on the go . From there, D.A.M. Good Drywall expanded into taping, steel stud framing, T-bar ceilings, tenant improvements, apartments, restaurants, and most recently— a full scale insulation division.

Office Manager

Meet Kristy—our office manager and the calm force behind the chaos that keeps D.A.M Good Drywall running like clockwork.

From the moment she joined the team, Kristy jumped right in, organizing schedules, streamlining communication, and making sure no detail falls through the cracks.

Whether it’s helping clients feel confident about their timelines, answering questions with clarity and patience, or coordinating crews so jobs run smoothly, Kristy’s all about creating a seamless experience from the first call to the final walkthrough.

Estimator

Harshiv holds a Master’s degree in Construction Engineering Management from Concordia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. His background in construction and estimating gives him a strong technical foundation and a practical understanding of how projects come together from the planning stage to construction.

He has a sharp eye for detail and takes the time to thoroughly review drawings, specifications, and project requirements. This allows him to identify important details, anticipate potential challenges, and develop well-rounded estimates that align with the needs of each project.

Working closely with customers, contractors, suppliers, and the field team, Harshiv is involved in many aspects of project delivery. In addition to preparing estimates, he assists with material procurement, invoicing, scheduling, and day-to-day coordination to help ensure projects stay on track.

His technical background, methodical approach, and ability to connect the details between the office and the field make him a valued member of the D.A.M. Good Drywall team.

Field Operations Manager

Meet CJ, our dedicated Boarding Foreman at D.A.M Good Drywall. With 24 years of hands-on experience in drywall installation, steel stud framing, drop ceilings, and T-bar ceiling systems, CJ brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to every job. His commitment to quality and craftsmanship is second to none.

As a proven leader, CJ ensures that each project runs smoothly and is completed on time. He’s known for his attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to guide crews with precision and efficiency. His presence on-site guarantees that every aspect of the work meets our high standards.

Project Coordinator

Peter is our Project Coordinator at D.A.M Good Drywall, helping keep projects organized from start to finish. He works closely with our crews, clients, suppliers, and contractors to make sure schedules stay on track, materials are coordinated, and everyone has the information they need.

With a strong eye for detail and a practical approach to problem-solving, Peter plays an important role in keeping jobs running smoothly behind the scenes and out in the field. His focus is making sure each project is properly planned, communicated, and completed to the standard our customers expect from D.A.M Good Drywall.

Foreman

Jake has been with D.A.M Good Drywall for many years and has grown with the company over that time.

He is one of the lead members of the boarding ​crew and plays an important role in keeping projects moving efficiently and on schedule. Jake brings years of experience to the job and takes pride in doing quality work, especially on larger projects with tight timelines.

Over the years, Jake has become a reliable part of the D.A.M Good Drywall team and is someone the crew can count on both on and off the job site.

Service Jobs Manager

Meet Tom – the quiet force behind so many of our best jobs at D.A.M Good Drywall. He’s the one you probably won’t see posting selfies or talking about what he’s done, but trust us – his work speaks volumes.

From fixing the little things others overlook to managing small renos with the kind of care you'd expect from someone working on their own home, Tom is all about the details. It’s not just about drywall to him – it’s about making sure the whole space feels right when he’s done.

We’ve lost count of how many clients have said, “Thank you for sending Tom.” That’s because he takes pride in doing the job right, no matter how small. And that kind of pride shows.

Cleaning Technician

Nate is our go-to guy for final cleanups—the unsung hero who steps in after the tools are down and the dust has settled. With an eye for detail and a relentless drive to leave every job site spotless, Nate ensures each space looks just as good as the work we put into it.

But truth be told, Nate’s involved well before the final sweep.

He often kicks off the job by delivering scaffolding, ladders, planks, and materials—making sure the crew has everything they need to hit the ground running. Throughout the project, he’s on call for emergency tool runs, quick fixes when something breaks (which he handles 95% of the time), and even demolition work when needed. He also checks in on sites to make sure heaters are running, everything’s locked up, and the environment is safe and ready for the next day.

Field Estimator

Russ is the estimating expert at D.A.M Good Drywall, where he plays a key role in making sure every job starts off on the right foot.

​With a strong background in drywall and insulation, Russ knows how to break down the details, provide accurate quotes, and help clients understand exactly what to expect.

He’s known for being thorough, honest, and easy to work with—always ready to answer questions and make sure there are no surprises along the way. Whether it’s a small patch job or a full-scale build, Russ approaches every estimate with the same level of care and professionalism.

Steel & ACT Foreman

Scotty brings over a decade of experience in the construction industry, he brings extensive hands-on expertise in steel stud framing, fire caulking, and acoustical ceiling systems to the D.A.M. Good Drywall team.

His experience covers a wide range of steel framing applications, from light-gauge to heavy-gauge steel, along with extensive knowledge of T-bar ceiling systems.

​He is comfortable taking on a variety of projects and site conditions, bringing practical problem-solving skills and a strong focus on quality to every job.
